Yes, remember to tag us ;)

Your ticket is your entry to the festival at the Hastings Showgrounds, allowing you access to all the stages, markets, and art installations. Transport, food, drink, camping and anything else within the festival grounds is a separate cost.

We will scan your ticket displayed from your phone, just make sure you have it ready with enough battery charge. If you don’t have a phone capable of this please print for scanning.

Don’t count on it, tickets are already looking to be sold out. If you want to come, buy a ticket in advance!

Nest Fest has a zero tolerance to discrimination of any kind. Respect the space and the people around you. If anyone is making you feel uncomfortable, please talk to security or one of our staff. Wellness and safe space areas will be there & locations will be sign marked and available for anyone in need. Remember it’s cooler to smile and wave / say hello than to be aggressive or weird.

Hard to say. Please do not buy any tickets through Viagogo and be wary of buying tickets from people directly from any marketplace. If you turn up to the festival with an invalid or already admitted ticket we won’t be able to let you in. You are best to contact our ticketing provider Humanitix if you would like a name change.

This year we are using the contact less EFTPOS system for purchasing at the festival - this should mean quicker bar and food lines for everyone! Please don’t bring cash as this will slow everyone’s experience down and you might struggle to be served at some bars + market vendors.

As you enter the festival you will have your ticket scanned, and be given your wristband at the Main Gate. This is your pass and ‘access key’ for the day/night. If people are caught sneaking into the event and trespassing, there will be repercussions and the perpetrators will be banned from future Nest Fest/BirdsNest events.

If you aren’t wearing the correct one, you will not permitted to be there and will told to leave.

We’ve teamed up with some of our favourite food suppliers from the Hawkes Bay and surrounding region to keep your stomachs happy across the weekend. With the expansion onto a new venue it means we have more creative control than previous years to be able to assure there is a variety of food & beverages available with as many dietary needs covered as we can. We can’t wait to give you the full Nest Fest experience we’ve been dreaming of!

There are no cooking facilities on site and open flame cooking units are prohibited as the area is under a total fire ban. You can bring food with you, but bear in mind that you won’t have access to refrigeration facilities. There will be free water stations on site. No glass containers, glass is confiscated on entry (see terms and conditions of entry).

Strictly no BYO, bags and vehicles will be searched on entry. Any illegal contraband found will be confiscated and you risk being removed from the festival. We won’t have alcohol consent for the campground unfortunately so this will be removed at check in if you try sneak it in.

Absolutely! You can stay at friends & rent an AirBnB or stay at the top 10 holiday parks! Do what is best for you and your crew! This year we also have camping access on site too for the people who want to stay on site with us.

There is ample shade under the trees in multiple areas all over the site. When you need shade, there is shade. If it is looking like it may rain, bring a rain jacket or umbrella.

There is free water available on site & a range of delicious non-alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase. We highly encourage bringing empty reusable water bottles onsite. These are long days in the heat of summer, pace yourself. Hydration is the key.

Yes. The whole venue has special capacities held within every area. So if you’re really set on seeing something in those spaces/stages, plan ahead and get in earlier than the start of the set.

Unfortunately not.

Yes! We have parking on site this year which is great - please be aware though that we do not encourage driving after the festival nor drink driving whatsoever - There will be police at the festival before and after monitoring this so please be safe - You can leave your car overnight if needed and pick it up the next day. To be safe - We strongly suggest booking a bus ticket so you can safely get to & from the festival.

Sun Hat, Smile, Sunblock, Reusable water bottle, Camera, Jumper if gets cooler in the evening, and good vibrations.

Most definitely. If you’d like to contribute to the festival in exchange for entry, stay tuned to social media, we’ll be taking applications soon.
